I NEED THIS NOW :(

  • Me: God, can I ask You a question?
  • God: Sure
  • Me: Promise You won't get mad
  • ... ... ... ...
  • God: I promise
  • Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?
  • God: What do u mean?
  • Me: Well, I woke up late
  • God: Yes
  • Me: My car took forever to start
  • God: Okay
  • Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait
  • God: Huummm
  • Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call
  • God: All right
  • Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?
  • God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one
  • of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that
  • Me (humbled): OH
  • GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.
  • Me: (ashamed)
  • God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.
  • Me (embarrassed): Okay
  • God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.
  • Me (softly): I see God
  • God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.
  • Me: I'm Sorry God
  • God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me.... in All things , the Good & the bad.
  • Me: I will trust You.
  • God: And don't doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.
  • Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.
  • God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children...

Charm Luxe Flat Top Brush Review

I’ve been longing to do a product review for such a long time now, but I can’t seem to find the perfect product for my 1st ever beauty blog! As much as possible, I want only the nicest things to say since this is the first one. Luckily, I found what I’m looking for! It’s the Charm Luxe Flat Top Brush!

Here’s a glimpse of what the product looks like:

A closer look..

(Actually, the bristles are still wet in this picture)

Okay. So first, let’s take a look at the packaging. The brush comes in a pink box, which I’m sure every girl would love. There is a product description written at the back of the box which states some of the functions of the brush and other advertising strategies.

One thing I love about the packaging is that, there is an instruction on how you should clean this brush. I think this is a must for every makeup brush packaging because the life span of a brush depends on how you take care of it.

Moving on to the product itself. Basically, I looooove this brush because of these reasons:

  1. It’s very versatile. This brush can be used for any face makeup product. May it be cream or liquid foundation, compact or loose powder, bronzer or luminizer, name it! I tried using this on all of the products I mentioned, and believe me, it really worked perfectly! This is also the main reason why I chose to buy this over a stippling brush.
  2. It really has an airbrush effect. The first time I used this brush, I literally had a ‘jaw-dropping-whoaaa-moment’. It’s like, there’s a built-in beauty blender which automatically blends my foundation as I put it onto my face. No harsh lines visible upon application. Provides very good coverage. I think I could throw away all my foundation brushes and beauty blender now! HAHA!
  3. It’s very handy. The brush is approximately 5-6 inches long, just the perfect size for personal use; not too long and not too short. I remembered my teacher in makeup school told us that short-handled makeup brushes are best for personal use because it won’t bump into your vanity mirror especially during crucial, blending moments! Here’s a picture for size reference:

4. Has the right amount of density. The bristles are dense enough to pick up just the right amount of product you need. I can say that a very minimal amount of product is wasted when using this brush, unlike in other thick foundation brushes (like Marionnaud foundation brush). It’s thickness is also used for buffing loose or mineral powder, so say goodbye to the messy application of loose powders!

5. And lastly, it’s pink. Need I say more?

Disadvantages:

  • There were 2 strands of hair that shed when I first opened the product. But I think this would be forgivable because after this, no more further shedding. Also, there was no bleeding on the first wash. And it dries fast!
  • It does not come with a brush guard. It’s just wrapped in a thin plastic, then the box. No brush guard to maintain its shape. But I doubt if it will be deformed at all!

Conclusion:

So all in all, I would still rate this 10/10! I know there are some minor disadvantages, but this did not alter the performance of the brush. Plus, for the quality it gives, it’s very affordable. (I bought this on sale for 500php, but the regular price is 600php. Still not bad, right?)

It’s versatile, it’s handy, it’s cute, and it’s affordable. What more can I ask for?

If you’re interested to buy the product, I got mine from this online shop:
